What this is

Cloud Model Registry is a reference site for browsing and comparing the models available on Ollama Cloud. It lists each model's context window, parameter size, capabilities, and a rough usage level — the details that matter when you're picking a model to work with.

The models themselves are hosted by Ollama. This site only describes them. If you're looking for the official service, go to ollama.com.

Where the data comes from

Almost everything on this site is scraped from publicly available pages on ollama.com:

The model list comes from ollama.com/search?c=cloud
Per-model specs (context window, size, capabilities, pull count, last-updated) come from each model's page under ollama.com/library/
Benchmark tables, key features, and descriptions are extracted from the model's public readme on the same page

The data is refreshed automatically once per day by a GitHub Actions workflow. Each model page links back to its source on ollama.com so you can always verify against the original.

What's ours, and what isn't

Most fields are taken directly from Ollama's pages and are reproduced as-is. If a value here disagrees with Ollama's own page, trust Ollama's.

A few things are our own presentation, and should be read as editorial rather than fact:

Usage level — the Low / Medium / High / Extra high / Token-based label on each model is a coarse estimate. It reflects how prominently the model is positioned in Ollama's catalog and whether it appears to be in heavy rotation. It is not a measurement of actual demand, and it is not something Ollama publishes.
"Best practices" sections — the recommendations on model pages are written by us, usually summarized from the model vendor's own documentation. They are not official Ollama guidance.
Community links — the subreddit links in the tag row point to relevant communities. They're convenience links, not endorsements.

How it's kept fresh

A scheduled job runs once per day. It re-scrapes ollama.com, updates the underlying JSON, regenerates every model page, and republishes the site. If nothing has changed, nothing is rewritten — page timestamps only move when the content actually does.

If a model is retired or removed from Ollama's catalog, it disappears from this registry on the next run.

Privacy

No accounts, no cookies, no tracking scripts. Cloudflare serves the site and provides aggregate request metrics. That's the whole story.
